Green Tea Pancakes With Strawberries

Last week I went with Hannah to the Korean market and saw a box that had a picture of Green Tea Pancakes. I love anything made with Green Tea so I had to try it.

So on a Sunday morning, I decided to make them and as I see the back of the box and the directions were in Korean with pictures. It reminded me of watching Asian soap opera shows without the subtitles but I digress.

I started converting the measurements(thank god for the iConvert app), since it was the only thing I understood in the directions only to realize that I could’ve just looked at my measuring cup.

Then, I started to following the picture by mixing the flour and yeast with a little over a cup of water and covered it and set it aside to rise for about 45 minutes.

I mixed the filling afterwards in a seperate bowl only to see that it was too watery, so I sliced some strawberries and sprinkled some sugar and set it aside.

Finally, I tried to fill the dough the pancakes but it wasn’t getting along with me so I just fried them without filling.

By itself, it’s like fried mochi. I love mochi but not when it is fried. Finally, something is fried that isn’t good. When strawberries are over the pancakes, it’s good stuff.
